The panel members for the criteria-setting phase of REF 2029 have now been announced, with full details available on the REF 2029 website.

We are delighted to share that the University of Greenwich is represented among the newly appointed panel members. Congratulations to the following colleagues on their appointments:

Professor Steven Belmain

• Role: Sub-panel member (assessment phase)
• Panel: Sub-panel 6 – Agriculture, Veterinary and Food Science

Professor Koulis Pericleous

• Role: Sub-panel member (assessment phase)
• Panel: Sub-panel 12 – Engineering

Professor Tracey Reynolds

• Role: Sub-panel member
• Panel: Sub-panel 20 – Social Work and Social Policy

Further targeted recruitment of additional panel members and assessors will take place in 2027. Colleagues with relevant experience are encouraged to remain engaged and consider applying in future rounds.
