With the London 2012 Olympics only a few years away, the university is gearing itself up for the world’s largest sporting event. The London Borough of Greenwich will host nine of the games’ 21 events, with equestrian and modern pentathlon events planned for Greenwich Park, just across the road from the campus.
Greenwich and Docklands International Festival
Four-day event in June. Now well established, this annual festival comprises performing arts, music, theatre, dance, comedy and many free events.

Greenwich Ice Rink
December to January. Why not try your hand at ice skating between the colonnades of the Old Royal Naval College and enjoy the beautiful setting? Afterwards, enjoy a warming cup of hot chocolate whilst watching the other skaters take their turn.
