Stephen Lawrence Gallery
The Stephen Lawrence Gallery showcases the work of contemporary artists and promotes cultural diversity in the visual arts. The gallery covers a variety of media, from photography and video projections to sculpture, and is situated on the ground floor of Queen Mary Court.
Cutty Sark
Famous Victorian tea clipper that stands impressively next to the campus. Extensive restoration and fire damage repair is ongoing so there is currently no access to the ship, but the visitor centre is open, and admittance is free.
The Fan Museum
Displayed in two Georgian houses, and the only museum of its kind in the world, this holds many examples of the must-have accessories of the 17th and 18th centuries. Crooms Hill.
Royal Observatory and Greenwich Park
On the Prime Meridian line, this was the home of the first Astronomer Royal and houses many exhibits of maritime heritage. Straddle the line marked in the cobbles and you too can be in both eastern and western hemispheres in one go – an ideal photo opportunity! Alternatively, have a wander about the beautiful 183 acres of Greenwich Park, which offers impressive views over London.
