Sweeps Festival (May)
Street entertainers, folk singers, morris dancers, the odd international star, and locals dressed as chimney sweeps. High St, Rochester.
Dickens Festival (May/June)
To celebrate one of England’s greatest novelists, hundreds of people dress up in costume and parade through Rochester re-enacting scenes from his work. Very colourful, very loud and very crowded. High St, Rochester.
