A vibrant economy is a critical part of rural, coastal and urban development in the UK and internationally. Ensuring that, that economic development is also socially and environmentally sustainable is increasingly recognised as a priority – from reducing the carbon footprint of the Gateway to forging better links between regeneration investment in capital and enterprise and community development support. University of Greenwich staff are providing advice to small and medium sized enterprises both within the UK and internationally in the context of sustainable development.
