Overview

BA Hons Marketing is one of our courses which provides you with up-to-date skills and a valuable marketing industry qualifications. Based in Greenwich London, your first year at university will help you develop a strong foundation in essential marketing principles and give you the opportunity to achieve the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Foundation Certificate in Marketing.

Programme structure

You will build on these skills in Year 2 with a focus on market research and the marketing mix. Year 3 takes a strategic perspective and introduces direct, interactive, digital and social marketing. You will learn to analyse target audiences and implement integrated marketing communications campaigns. You will work on live briefs from a variety of organisations, including the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing. In your third year you will have the option to undertake a work placement to build your core skills. 

Career development

Students from this course usually gain the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing on graduation, boosting their early careers. The course also provides exemptions from Market Research Society and Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing examinations.
