Aims

The aim of this course is to teach ways in which economic analysis and research methods can be used to help future managers arrive at better business decisions.

Learning outcomes

1 Estimate demand
2 Make business decisions in situations of risk and uncertainty
3 Critically apply different capital budgeting techniques
4 Critically evaluate the best growth and internationalisation strategy for a firm and suggest course of action
5 Critically evaluate the CSR strategies adopted by firms and suggest course of action
6 Identify the competitive advantage of firms over time and identify suitable innovation and pricing strategies
