Brand new all-weather sports pitches

£1.7m investment in sport on the Avery Hill Campus at University of Greenwich has resulted in 2 new all weather sports pitches, enabling most of our student sport to be played on campus. Not many other London universities can say that!

Sand dressed hockey pitch for our men's, women's and mixed hockey teams is also used by our lacrosse teams and for casual football

3G rubber crumb pitch suitable for football, rugby, American football and lots more

Grass pitches

We have a number of grass football pitches which are available to hire over the winter season. The pitches are very popular and we do have teams based here on a regular basis therefore availability is limited. The pitches are only available during the daytime as they are not floodlit.
