Choir About the university

The University of Greenwich Choir is a non-auditioning Choir bringing together students, staff, alumni and friends of the University of Greenwich to make music in a sociable environment.

The Choir performs a wide range of music, from George Frederic Handel to George Michael, with recent concerts including music by Purcell and Janáček, show songs, and a South American samba medley arranged especially for the Choir. They have collaborated with a wide range of guest musicians, including the new Royal Greenwich and Blackheath Halls Youth Choir. In June 2017 they made their debut at Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall, performing works by Verdi and Carl Orff as part of 'Celebrate Royal Greenwich - Singing Spectacular'.

The University Choir usually meets in Greenwich on Monday evenings during term-time – check the 'Rehearsal schedule' page for more details.

New members are always welcome. All you have to do is turn up to a rehearsal!
