Big Picture - Kevin Read 5 Oct 2016The role of 'influencers' in economic, political and cultural life is the topic of a public lecture at the University of Greenwich on Wednesday 5 October.

Kevin Read, a branding and marketing expert with vast experience of sectors including finance, food and drink, energy, professional services and telecoms, is giving the talk.

He will examine how the technological revolution of the last two decades has led to the emergence of a new generation of influencers, and illustrate how we are better placed than ever to evaluate their impact.

Kevin provides leadership coaching and strategic advice to senior business leaders and advises on major change programmes within organisations. His clients include HSBC, Panasonic, TNS and Virgin Media Business.

The Age of the Influencers is the first in a new series of Big Picture seminars, run by the university's Business School. These events, open to all, give students, university staff and the public a chance to listen to high-profile speakers, who share rare and personal insights into the bigger picture of how industries operate.
