Neil Spiller show at Cornell UniversityThe surreal designs of architect Professor Neil Spiller go on show this week at Cornell University, in New York State, USA.

His work is shown alongside that of sculptor Kris Kuksi in a joint exhibition titled Extreme Dreams, an interdisciplinary art and architecture project that draws on both history and technology.

"The show is excessive, spiky, inky and layered", says Professor Spiller. "It explores the surreal, Baroque, Goth, fantastic."

Described as "visionary" by Architects' Journal, Professor Spiller has a distinguished record as an author and artist. He is the Hawksmoor Chair of Architecture & Landscape and Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor in the Faculty of Architecture, Computing & Humanities at the university.
