Big Picture - Andy Wolfe, 7 Dec 2016Achieving presence in the business world is the subject of a public seminar at the University of Greenwich on Wednesday 7 December.

Andy Wolfe, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Arcadia Consulting, will be speaking on managing one's own presence, analysing others' styles, and finding the perfect balance between words and non-verbal communications.

Related topics will include presenting and public speaking, networking and meeting others, building rapport, influencing others and pitching a sale.

"A key skill in business is to inspire and engage at all levels, and be able to do this in a compelling and energising way," he says.

The seminar, Professional Presence – Personal Branding, is interactive and will focus on real examples of familiar situations.

Andy specialises in strategic consulting, account development and stakeholder management, as well as one-to-one coaching for senior level executives. Formerly a Pro Vice-Chancellor of Thames Valley University, he developed the pioneering distance learning business, the Open Learning Company.

His past and present clients include Accenture, PwC, BT, HSBC, Barclays and Deutsche Bank.

Run by the university's Business School, the popular Big Picture seminar series gives high-profile speakers a chance to share their expert insights. Subjects include entrepreneurship, leadership and management, the economy and the media.

This event takes place at the Greenwich Campus from 5pm. Questions will follow the main talk.
