Google masterclass at GreenwichTechnology giant Google has hosted a digital training masterclass at the University of Greenwich.

Over 160 students enjoyed the three-hour Digital Garage on Tour session, which saw Google's expert, Gori Yahaya, offer tips on how to build a business's online profile, including the use of search optimization. The use of analytics to collect and analyse data was also covered.

The event was hosted by the i3 Centre, part of the university's Business School. Jerry Allen, Deputy Director of Enterprise, says: "We are so pleased to have welcomed such a prestigious company to Greenwich. Our students received some great advice and digital training from a sector leader. They will be able to apply the skills learned, both at university and in the world of work."

The i3 Centre recently took part in Global Entrepreneurship Week, the world's largest festival of entrepreneurship. Events at Greenwich included enterprise challenges, marketing for start-ups, and an all-you-need-to-know session on starting a business.
