The University of Greenwich is throwing open its doors to prospective students next month, with the first in a series of Open Days.

As this year's students arrive for Welcome Week and an exciting new chapter in their lives, potential students for the 2019/20 academic year (and their families!) are invited to find out more about what's on offer in Greenwich.

The next Open Day will be take place on Saturday, 6 October.

It's is a chance to explore our historic campuses, visit student accommodation and chat to our students and staff to get a real taste for what university life can be like.

David Jenkin, who is studying primary education, found his Open Day experience helped him decide Greenwich was the university for him.

He said: "I really enjoyed the campus, really enjoyed the lecturers and they were very knowledgeable.

"Whenever I take on a task in life I have to be passionate about it and you could see the passion and the drive of all the lecturers for their subject."

The Open Day will include subject talks, campus tours and much more.
