The most famous road crossing on earth, a Harry Potter station, and an underground Roman temple, all within reach and for free.

Students offered a place through Clearing on A-level results day (16 August) at the University of Greenwich can win one of 15 zone 1-6 Oyster Cards, worth £1,744 each, on offer to new recruits.

The cards will be drawn, one an hour at random, from when the lines open at 6am until close at 8pm.

Claire Chalmers, Head of UK Student Recruitment, says: "Coming to university is a big step and many of our students will be living in London for the first time. With the whole of the capital on their doorstep, these Oyster cards put everything London has to offer within reach. Anyone who calls on results day and receives an offer is in with a shout." Here's a few suggestions of free or cheap things to see in zones 1-6.
