What will you learn?

The world of search engine optimisation has changed rapidly over the past few years as Google and other search engine providers tighten up their search rankings and ramp up their efforts to remove spurious sites from search results. The course will provide you with knowledge of the ever changing world of search engine optimisation, including key concepts as well as the tools required to increase website visibility.

-  How search engines work: Crawlers, PageRank

-  What is search engine optimisation?

-  Content & access: Validation, Cookies, Landing pages, Key phrases, Duplicate Content, Sitemaps

-  SEO Tools

You do not need any prior knowledge of SEO to take part in this course, though you should have a basic knowledge of IT and computer use.
