Church Tourism App GWizards

The Heritage Department of the Church of England supported a Masters degree student in the development of a prototype ChurchTourism App. The idea was to undertake a proof-of-concept development for Android phones that would enable tourists to find information about historic churches in the City of London and plan their visit accordingly. The student worked closely with the Heritage Department to develop an App that would meet the requirements of the tourist and the Heritage Department alike.

The Android Development Environment was used for the development of the agreed prototype. In addition to this, the SQlite database was used to develop the application as a fat client.
