SHREWD-Blackberry App GWizards

The aim of this project was to investigate the best technologies to use in the development of a Blackberry mobile application and to then validate these findings by developing a real-world prototype Blackberry App. The requirements for this App were drawn from the SHREWD environment with the student working with real users and developers to help solve a real problem.

The student undertook extensive research into the requirements of a live mobile enterprise application such as standard system architectures, security issues including encryption and Data Protection regulations.

The student also undertook extensive research into the practical application for Blackberry Web Works Technology before using it to his develop his prototype App, together with HTML, JAVA Script, RESTFUL and MySQL.
