Santander Universities UK has provided lots of support this year to students and graduates of Greenwich.
Earlier in 2021, the organisation launched a Freelancer Scheme offering support to UK-based freelancers and small- and medium-enterprises, with a grant of £1,000. One of the recipients was Greenwich alumna, and Founder of Bake Well Being, Ella Stewart .
A massive thank you to the University of Greenwich Generator Team, who have continually supported Bake Well Being from the idea stage to now, and have just awarded me a bursary in partnership with Santander Universities UK that will enable funding to achieve a list of next steps for my social enterprise.

In February this year, students and graduates took part in the Santander Universities UK Student Online Self-Development Programme, delivered with Sporting Edge. Over the course of the digital experience they learned about a variety of performance themes including personal drive, learning mindsets, and self-confidence.
After completing everything and achieving 100% on each module, I would like to say this programme was absolutely phenomenal. It was evident that Sporting Edge took a long time in creating this masterpiece. All videos were highly motivating and educational. I have learnt new techniques on how to become more successful and productive. My favourite module, called 'managing your time' – specifically the video by Professor Guy Claxton on 'avoiding distractions' – was absolutely reassuring for me, as I have decided to delete all social media as it was distracting me from my goal of becoming successful. I look forward to implementing all the positive advice that I have learnt from this programme into my own life.
