Our new portal has launched, and you will already have noticed its look and feel is more like the university website.  It has a mobile friendly design and the new login page will alter to suit the device you use to login.

The relaunch is the start of making the portal a key tool for communicating across the university and reducing the number of emails we receive. On the staff home page as well as news for staff, you'll also find announcements, university news, an events calendar and more and we expect it to be less static than before.

Information & Library Systems (ILS) have worked with staff and students to make sure the new design and content structure work for everyone. The new layout is more intuitive, but to help you find your way around there's a 4-step handy guide below, which guides you through the main changes.

  3. Search the portal: search the Portal, university websites and the staff directory, or filter to help find what you want

ILS will give a short demo of the new portal as part of the Staff Roadshow on Wednesday 9 November. The roadshows are taking place simultaneously across all campuses and you can find more details in the new Events calendar.
