Aakriti shares her experience and how lecturers made the courses interesting.

How are you finding the university?

When I came to Greenwich it was very friendly. Students studying here are very friendly, teachers are very supportive. I received support from all of my faculty during my initial days here and I really enjoyed it. And I think it's a nice experience for me so far.

How have you found the finance side of the MBA?

Financial management was very interesting and the teachers made it much more interesting. Agnieszka and Kevin really taught those subjects really well. I think the majority of the students were satisfied with the teaching pattern and the exam also went really well, and we really enjoyed the finance section. Those classes were really interesting and challenging, and nobody wants to miss them.

What makes the classes fun and interesting?

The way the lecturers try to explain a particular scenario, because if they talk about accounting, it generally is very boring. It's all about numbers and formulas, and you have to keep on remembering things all the time.

But Kevin made this subject very interesting. He was always cheerful while teaching the subject. He always tried to encourage people to participate in the class and he was really good at doing that.

What skills have you developed as a result of studying the MBA?

We have developed critical thinking skills, especially critically analysing a particular theory or decision making style. Also developed some leadership qualities in ourselves while dong the leadership course and we all emerged out as the leaders in our team.

How have you found studying for the university as a whole?

I like this university particularly because of its location and along the Thames you can see Canary Wharf. I really love this view. As far as teaching is concerned, some tutors are very supportive. I think it's what individuals want to gain from a particular thing. So, it's totally on your hand how you want to take the most of it.
