Last year 100% of eligible staff completed their online appraisals, and with a little over a week to go 88% of staff are currently working towards completing their appraisals.

We know many of you are working to meet the 1 August deadline, and appraisals meetings and work is still taking place, however we're not far off our target.

Please ensure: 

  • You agree your new appraisal objectives and development plans for 2017/18 with your line managers/appraisers, and record these in the online tool.
  • For Academic Staff your Balanced Academic Workload (BAW) points should have been allocated, and you should have had an opportunity to review the role expectations from our Career Pathways information so you can begin to plan where you would like to develop your career in line the University's People Strategy, which will support delivering our next Strategic Plan.
