Degree Apprenticeship: Your questions answered Articles

The changes to the presentation cover funding model updates, confirmation of our successful application to be on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers - or RoATP - and our programme approval factors (see slide 33 in the presentation). You can also see the responses to the questions you raised at the introductory sessions.

Professor Javier Bonet, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Enterprise) chair of our strategic oversight group for the Degree Apprenticeship project said:

"Degree apprenticeships are an important new education route enabling apprentices to study at degree level (degree and masters) while gaining on the job training, and which allow us to develop closer relationships with local and regional employers.  At Greenwich we already have programmes - such as the Bsc Hons Pharmaceutical Science and BSc Hons Chemistry for Laboratory Scientist apprenticeships underway. We expect further programmes to be available in the 2017/18 academic year and are looking to develop additional programmes across all of our faculties."

You can find more information about our Degree Apprenticeships on our external webpages which cover information for students and employers.
