The Greenwich Bursary: Our Aspire Card in partnership with John Smith’s

We are awarding a £700 Aspire@Greenwich Card to new full-time undergraduate students entering year 0 or 1 who meet the criteria. The funds can be spent on textbooks, stationery and other essential learning resources

Am I Eligible?

You will need to meet the following criteria to assessed for the bursary:

  • You are a fully registered undergraduate student of the University of Greenwich
  • You are assessed to pay home fees over £6,165 per year
  • You have been financially assessed by Student Finance England and have given consent for it to be shared with your university.
  • You household income is below £25,000

You do not need to apply for this bursary as our Funds, Awards and Bursaries team will automatically assess and award you the bursary if you match the full eligibility criteria. We will contact eligible students with information on how to collect their card.

Where can you spend your bursary?

You will be issued with a personalised Aspire@Greenwich Card and required to create a secure 4-digit PIN. You can spend your funds at www.greenwichaspire.co.uk on textbooks, stationery and other essential learning resources. You can also spend your funds on Students' Union clubs, societies and gym memberships.

Scholarships and bursaries

The university offers a wide variety of Scholarship and Bursaries. Our awards range from Sport Scholarships to our Commuter Bursary as well as additional funding for students in financial difficulty.
