Please avoid using your university landline, and if you’re at Greenwich or Avery Hill campuses your mobile phone, so as many of our phone lines as possible are available to potential applicants.

Clearing is important to the university and everyone has a part to play to ensure it is successful and we meet our recruitment targets.  

While you may not be directly involved you can help by keeping our phone lines, landline and mobile, available to potential applicants.

Please avoid using your university landline, and if you're at Greenwich or Avery Hill campuses your mobile phone, for making and receiving external calls, especially during the peak times of 10am to 3pm.

This will help ensure as many of our lines as possible are available to potential applicants during our busiest times.

Instead please use email, Skype, Yammer or texts, internal calls using your university landline are also fine.

Tip: to lessen the impact on our mobile coverage, if you're at Greenwich or Avery Hill, please put your mobile in Airplane mode, switch Wi-Fi on and connect to our wireless networks.

If it's essential to make or receive business calls, then keeping it brief will help and your cooperation during this business critical time is appreciated.
