All shared mailboxes will be migrated before staff email accounts. This means you will retain access to them during the transition period. If you already have access to a shared mailbox you will be asked to restart Outlook once its migration is complete.
The migration of staff email accounts will also start this week. Greenwich Learning & Teaching are included in the first phase so that they can join ILS in providing support to the faculties as they start to use Teams to work with and support students.
The migration rollout plan is shown below:
Estimated completion date* | |
---|---|
All shared mailboxes | 17 April |
Vice-Chancellor's Office Greenwich Research & Enterprise Greenwich Learning & Teaching Natural Resources Institute | 24 April |
Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences | 1 May |
Faculty of Business | 8 May |
Faculty of Engineering & Science | 15 May |
Faculty of Education, Health & Human Sciences | 22 May |

* Please note: these changes are dependent on factors outside the university's control, therefore actual completion dates may vary.
Migrating your email into the university governed storage in the cloud will integrate your email and calendar with our other Office 365 applications and provide a more integrated digital experience. You'll benefit from enhanced functionality and a standardised experience, which you'll recognise when viewing the Microsoft online training, videos and help.
