Reminder: The GRE Awards nomination deadline is Monday 15 October

The range of awards have been broadened this year including new awards, as well as our more "traditional" Early Career Research (ECR) awards.

The two ECR awards are:

Early Career Research Excellence Awards

This award recognises exceptional research achievement and potential by early career academic and research staff that meet the University ECR criteria and are currently in-post at the University of Greenwich.

Early Career Researcher Impact Award

We will award one Early Career Researcher Impact prize. For the purposes of this initiative, impact is defined as the application of research findings to a wider audience than purely academic, for example, communication with the media, application to public policy or other practical applications such as being the basis of a product licence or other forms of exploitation of the intellectual property.

Impact must be underpinned by research that is recognised as off at least 2* quality as defined by REF 2021. This is defined as quality that is recognised internationally in terms of originality, significance and rigour.
