Our virtual campuses will be quieter than usual on 26 & 27 May

Where there are teaching commitments these will continue, and the GSU and GKU remain available. You will still be able to access our student services, although we will have less people available than usual.

Following the work by staff across the university to move to virtual campuses, and the continued efforts to support you and each other while operating and working remotely, the Vice-Chancellor's Group have awarded two additional days leave, which the majority of staff will take on 26 and 27 May.

It's important that our staff look after themselves and take proper breaks during this time too.

Where there are teaching commitments these will continue, and the GSU and GKU remain available. Our student services, including Student Centres, the IT Service Desk and Library Services also remain available, although they will have less people working than normal.  University staff who work on these days will arrange to take the additional leave on other days.

The 'Teams Launch Support' area on Microsoft Teams will be active for any staff and students who need assistance. Any IT and library enquiries can be logged with the IT Service Desk, and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Our one hour online drop-ins with a Librarian and Academic Skills Tutor between 12-1pm Tuesday and Wednesday, will continue to take place. Our late night support on Wednesday between 6pm-8pm with Later... Online, will also take place.

Thank you for your understanding.
