TLDRoffon

Room details will continue to be added over the next few weeks, please check your timetables regularly particularly before term starts and in the first 4 weeks of term. Timetables are also likely to change if the government’s advice is updated.

Update 17/9: We are continuing to build and share your personal timetables – so please keep checking back.

Programme Timetables

Programme and Module timetables for the 2021/22 academic year are displayed here: https://timetable.gre.ac.uk

Programmes and modules timetables are now available via the Timetable link on the portal.

You will see the following allocation for your programme timetable:

  • Teaching with a room (the session will take place on campus)
  • Teaching with no room but states online in the title of the activity (the session will take place online)
  • Teaching without a room and does not state online in the title (the session is due to take place on campus and a room has yet to be allocated)

Personal Timetables

Your personal timetable will be on the 'My Timetable' tab and in the mobile app and will continue to build over the coming weeks. Please continue to check the complete Programme timetable using the methods listed below to ensure you have a full understanding of your timetable while this process is being undertaken. Remember, in order for us to start creating your personal timetable you must complete online registration and you will be allocated to the individual group teaching activities you are required to attend.

Please note: although teaching has been scheduled and the bulk of the rooms have been allocated, the timetable is still subject to change so please check your programme timetable regularly from now and into the first few weeks of term for updates to your programme. As timetables are continuing to build you will see a mix of the 3 above room allocations.

If you have any queries regarding your timetable, please contact your School Office or personal tutor.

Important information for International Students

Please also see the important information for international students who are studying on a visa in the UK and those who are outside the UK for in-person and remote engagement days.

Staying Covid-Safe

We’ve updated our Covid-Safe guidance, and continue to keep the government guidance under review to ensure our campuses are safe.  If you have concerns about studying on campus or are unable to attend please complete the following online form to let us know by 10 September.

I have no activities showing under 'My Timetable' tab, what should I do?

Please refer to your programme timetable in the short-term until you are allocated to your personal teaching activities.

I am unable to see any activities for Welcome Week, where can I find these?

Students are not allocated a personal Welcome Week timetable, please visit the Welcome Week Portlet which is situated on the home page of the Student Portal which will direct you to your welcome week timetable.  This will be available from early September.

I have teaching clashes on my timetable, what should I do?

Please refer to your School/Faculty office.

I am viewing the timetable and no information is showing on the page?

Please check that you have selected the correct weeks or terms for your teaching (refer to the academic calendar for teaching week details).  If you are still unable to see any information please report the issue to the IT Service Desk who will refer the issue to the relevant team.

What is the string of characters at the end of the programme?

When viewing programme timetables on the portal the string at the end of the programme relates to the mode of delivery, year and start month of the programme for example, BA H 3D Digital Design and Animation/01/1/September is broken down as follows:

Title of programme - BA H 3D Digital Design and Animation

2 /01 is the mode of delivery (01 = full time, 05 = Part Time, 10 = Distance Learning, 03 = Sandwich)

3 /1 = the year of study (1 = Yr 1, 2 = Yr 2, etc)

I am an International Student studying in the UK

If you are a new student studying on a visa and are in the UK, the UKVI have stated that for the 2021/2022 academic session, you are required to have a minimum of two face to face (in-person) points of engagement over a rolling four-week period, which may include a seminar, lecture, practical lab work etc. As this will be monitored, you should ensure that you engage as required by the UKVI, to avoid missing these compulsory points of contact. Your faculty should be able to guide you on engagement and attendance requirements for your programme.

I am an International Student not currently in the UK

If you are a new student studying on a student visa but are not currently in the UK, until your arrival you are able to engage remotely/via distance learning and therefore will not be subject to the requirement for face to face (in-person) points of engagement over a rolling four-week period. However, once in the UK, there is the requirement for face to face (in-person) points of engagement as described above.
