Deciding which university to attend can be tricky. We've put together some useful tips to help you get the most out of your campus visit.

There is a lot to consider, and often visiting the university is the best way to get the information you need. We've put together some useful tips to help you get the most out of your campus visit.

Book your visit

As well as scheduled events, most universities put on extra tours or Open Days during Clearing. These may not be advertised online, so it's worth contacting the institutions that you have applied to or are considering a visit. At the University of Greenwich we will be offering campus tours for those who are currently going through the clearing process at all three of our campuses on the following dates:

  • Friday 18 August
  • Saturday 19 August
  • Monday 21 August
  • Tuesday 22 August

You may have made an application or are currently considering applying to Greenwich through Clearing and would like to take a look around the campus to make sure that it is the right choice for you.

Whatever you want to know…

It's a good idea to think about what you'd like to find out and make a list of questions before your visit. Our friendly ambassadors and staff are here to help.  Whatever you want to know about – from course contact hours to sports facilities – just ask and we'll get you the information you need.

Talk to our student ambassadors

Our campus tours are led by current students who also work for the university. Don't miss out on their insider knowledge – they'll tell you what the programmes are like and how to get the most out of student life.

We hope that you've found these tips useful, and we look forward to meeting you on campus soon.
