Greenwich Postgraduate Scholarship 2022/23

Our Greenwich Postgraduate Scholarship gives final-year undergraduates at the University of Greenwich the chance to receive £5,000 to continue their studies with us.

Here at the University of Greenwich, we are committed to helping our undergraduate students progress to postgraduate study. Our Greenwich Postgraduate Scholarship gives 80 students the chance to each receive a £5,000 discount against their postgraduate course fees.

The scholarship is available for a broad range of Master's degrees for full-time and part-time study.

Am I eligible?

To apply, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • You are a current final year undergraduate student at the University of Greenwich.
  • You hold a conditional offer to study an eligible postgraduate course at the University of Greenwich 2022/23.
  • You are predicted to achieve a First, a 2.1, or 2.2 degree.
  • You are considered a UK national an EU national resident in the UK paying Home fees.
  • Your household income is below £43,000 for the 2021/22 academic year. 
    Applicants may be required to provide further supporting evidence to confirm household income.
  • You must submit a 250-word personal statement/video about how you have grown as a person during your time as a student and how you embody the university’s values: Inclusive, Collaborative and Impactful.

How to apply

Conditions

  • An offer through the PG Fast Track scheme does not guarantee you an offer for the Greenwich Postgraduate Scholarship.
  • The scholarship cannot be combined with other fee waivers (eg the Alumni and First-Class Honours awards). But scholarship holders can apply for a postgraduate loan towards the cost of study.
  • If you have an undergraduate maintenance loan from Student Finance England (SFE), please ensure SFE has consent to share your household income assessment with us.
  • If you have funding from Student Finance Services European Team, Student Finance Wales, Student Finance Northern Ireland or the Student Awards Agency for Scotland, we will ask for documents from your funding provider to verify your household income.

If you agree with all the conditions above, then you can apply for the scheme. Applications are considered on an individual basis and those awarded will be contacted after the closing date in spring 2022.
