6th Sustainable Urban Policy Futures, 9-12 July 2019, University of Greenwich

Following previous popular workshops since 2013, it is with great pleasure that the Research Group is announcing its sixth workshop in this series. The 2019 workshop is set to take place from July 9th – 12th, at the University of Greenwich, Maritime Campus. July 12th will facilitate training events, visits and other activities around the themes:

  • Urban infrastructure systems and networks: Transport, energy, waste, communications
  • Distributed and overlapping production systems (e.g. IT clusters, health, etc.)
  • High quality urban business ecosystems and global value chains
  • Business models for technologically transformed social systems
  • Urban entrepreneurship in Town centres (regeneration, attractiveness and tourism)
  • Liveable cities: Health, wellbeing and the movement of people and goods in cities

'Global Standard' for the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing

Dr. Li Zhou, on behalf of the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM), assessed the educational programmes and awarded the IFPSM 'Global Standard' accreditation to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
