Diversity Interest Group Launch 2nd November 2017

The University of Greenwich is proud to announce the launch of its university-wide Diversity Interest Group. The diversity interest group includes members from all faculties across the University combining academics and practitioners. The group is interested in all forms of equality and diversity from an interdisciplinary perspective.

The launch event will take place on Thursday 2nd November in Room 063 at the Old Royal Naval College, University of Greenwich.

The Keynote speeches will be followed by question and answer session. We invite you to enjoy canapes and wine while viewing poster displays of the equality work undertaken by the members of the Diversity Interest Group at the University of Greenwich.

Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon OBE

A Labour Life peer in the House of Lords, Baroness Lawrence is a champion for equality. As a member of the Human Rights Joint Committee, Baroness Lawrence is working to improve equality outcomes across the UK. Baroness Lawrence has been carrying out charitable work for over 20 years addressing the erosion of opportunities for young people.

Prof. Kim Hoque

A Professor at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick. Professor Hoque's work centres on equal opportunities and new forms of union representation including equality representatives and disability champions. Publishing in Human Relations and Human Relations Journal among other highly ranked journals, Prof Hoque is at the leading edge of employment and equality work.
