The series

The Big Picture Seminar Series aims to provide students, staff and the local community with an insight into the bigger picture of industries that either interest them or that they study. The events are intended to inspire, inform and educate attendees. includes the opportunity for questions regarding the seminar topic.  

The seminars are hosted by a number of high profile speakers, covering a wide range of topics appealing to Business School students, staff and the general public. Speakers share their expertise on a range of topics, from entrepreneurship, leadership and management to financial forecasting, the economic climate and the media today. Each event includes the opportunity for questions regarding the seminar topic.  

Previous speakers have included:

  • Sir John Armitt, Chairman of the Olympic Delivery Authority, London 2012,
  • Dominic Fry, Director of Communications and Investor Relations of Marks & Spencer,
  • Ian Harwood, City Economist, 
  • plus many more.


Free, open to public.

How do I register?

There is no registration. Entry is on a first come first served basis up to the capacity of the venue, so to avoid disappointment please arrive early.

Where do they take place?

All events are based at the Greenwich Campus, in Stephen Lawrence Building, Room 101.

What time do they start?

Doors open at 5pm. No entry will be granted after 5:15pm.
