Mary Clare Martin gave a talk on 'International Guiding: Beginnings, 1908-19', followed by groups of Guides from Waltham Forest and Essex talking about their experiences overseas at Buckhurst Hill Community Primary School, Essex.

This seminar will address issues relating to the life-cycle such as age, intergenerational relationships, parenthood, ageing, childhood and youth, from long-chronological and interdisciplinary perspectives.
