Mandy Mitchelmore is a Principal Lecturer and Programme Leader in the Department of Adult Nursing & Paramedic Science at the University of Greenwich.

Mandy has been in the post as principal lecturer and programme lead on the pre-registration Adult Nursing programme since 2009. She has worked collaboratively in a partnership pre-registration inter-professional learning programme. Her first class degree in French has cultivated a European partnership working project with a university in France.

Mandy has been instrumental in developing adult nursing for the University of Greenwich on the Medway Campus, leading to investment in new facilities. Mandy has taught a wide range of subjects and has a special interest in ethics taught over both pre-registration and post registration programmes.

She has worked in a team as part of the research unit of the university, on nationally funded projects focusing on the educational needs of midwives and health promotion for Black and Minority Ethnic groups.

Mandy is Key Account Manager, liaising with a local NHS Trust liaising to ensure that education provision meets workforce requirements and demand, and she is instrumental in preparing and supporting staff in relation to a new curriculum.

Mandy is a Link tutor for a range of areas within local NHS Trusts, supporting students and mentors in the clinical environment.

She is also a Personal tutor providing pastoral and academic support to adult nursing students throughout their programme and supervises undergraduate research projects.
