Louise Atkins is a Senior Lecturer for Early Years in the Department of Education & Community Studies at the University of Greenwich.

Louise has worked in Early Years for at least 14 years, and prior to working at the university, mentored and assessed in other institutions and supported the development of programmes.

At the university she lectures on the BA Hons Early Years degree and both coordinates and lectures on the Early Years Teacher Status programme. She is highly committed to raising the profile of Early Years within the sector and is dedicated to ensuring that all children get the best start in life.
