The Faculty of Engineering and Science has several research groups, each specialising in a particular area of interest. Learn about some of our current projects.


The Innovative Multi-component Drug Design (IMODE) project is funded by the INTERREG V 2 Seas Mers Zee├źn program, with the financial support of the European Regional Development Fund.

This program facilitates cross-border cooperation between England, France, the Netherlands and Belgium (Flanders). The project started on July 1st 2016, and will last 4 years.

ValgOrize was launched in February 2019 during a stakeholder meeting in Ostend, Belgium. The closing stakeholder event will take place at the end of 2021 at NIOZ, the Netherlands. 

This project has received funding from the Interreg 2 Seas programme 2014-2020 co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund under subsidy contract No ValgOrize 2S05-17.
