Learning and Teaching Project Showcase: Exploring practical strategies, skills and support for student resilience, compassion and wellbeing

4th Mar 2021 4:20pm - 5pm

This activity takes place online

Exploring practical strategies, skills and support for student resilience, compassion and wellbeing

This year the university has funded a number of learning and teaching projects, including three initiatives that support student wellbeing:

· The Resilience Enhancement Programme for Students (Online): Developing an online course for boosting resilience in students (Dr Oliver Robinson, FEHHS)

· Student Digital Champions (Sharon Perera, Information and Library Services)

· An exploration of the benefits of embedding compassion-focused pedagogy in Level 4 groupwork at Greenwich (Dr Alison Gilmour and Dr Rachel George, Greenwich Learning and Teaching)

This showcase session will be an opportunity to hear a bit about each of these from the project leads, but more importantly to explore the shared themes across the projects – sharing your views and experiences linked to resilience, compassion and wellbeing.
