Turning Policy into Practice: How should universities develop their support for mental health and wellbeing in a post-Covid world?

3rd Mar 2021 2pm - 2:45pm

This activity takes place online

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and its related lockdown measures have impacted on the mental health and wellbeing of all of society and will likely continue to do so for many years. The University are delighted to welcome Sir Norman Lamb to discuss this issue with us as we seek to explore what we can do to support our staff, students and wider society in the coming years, in the context of wider public health policy.

This session will launch the university’s activities for University Mental Health Day, and Sir Norman Lamb will be joined by Professor Jane Harrington, Vice-Chancellor, and Professor Derek Moore, Pro-Vice Chancellor for the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences, for discussion and questions from the attendees.
