This course provides a comprehensive introduction to core technical and managerial aspects of building services engineering within a vocational 'Clerk of Works' practitioner context.

This programme gives partial contribution to academic formation of Incorporated Engineer.

The aims of the course are:

  • To develop abilities to provide technical, managerial and economic solutions to building services engineering problems within a clerk of works practitioner context
  • To communicate confidently with clients, professional and public organisations and individuals in relation to the provision of advice and the solution of relevant problems
  • To develop positive attitudes to career advancement based on knowledge and understanding of requirements and options within a clerk of works practitioner context.
