The University hosts a number of conferences, workshops and open lectures throughout the academic year for which all internal staff are invited. For most of these, non-University of Greenwich staff are also welcome.

SHIFT

Academic Practice and Technology (APT) 2018

APT 2018 is a one day conference co-organised by the University of Greenwich and the London School of Economics and Political Science. The conference explores new approaches and innovations around the adaptation of academic practice, exploring how university staff involved in teaching and assessment are advancing their use of educational technology in an era of challenging and changing times for UK universities. Medway Festival of Learning and Teaching  2018

The Universities at Medway fourth annual festival of learning, teaching and assessment will take place on Thursday 13 September at the Medway Campus, 9am-2pm. This year's theme is inclusive practice. Inclusive practice incorporates multiple aspects including curriculum design and delivery, assessment and feedback, technological innovation, education for sustainable development, staff-student partnership, internationalisation, research-led teaching and graduate attributes. Open lectures on Teaching and Learning

Anyone with an interest in teaching and learning is warmly invited to attend our Open Lectures. The lectures take place between 5.30pm and 6.30pm (unless stated otherwise) at the Greenwich campus, Old Royal Naval College, Queen Anne Court LT 065.
