Paying your fees

The University of Greenwich guide to paying your fees. Discover the various options to pay tuition fees for international students.

For programmes that are based on our three campuses, a pre-registration deposit of £3,000 is required for all pre degree, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the time of accepting an offer. The deposit acts as part of the tuition fees and reduces the tuition fees payable on registration.

Paying the pre-registration deposit

Deposits cannot be paid by cheque, credit or debit card or cash and must be paid by either bank draft or electronic transfer to the university bank account.

The university's policy is that deposits will be held for a maximum of two years to allow the students for whom deposits are held to either:

  • Enrol onto their intended programme of study (in the case of students who have deferred their study to a later academic session),or
  • Provide evidence to the university of the failed visa application, or
  • Provide evidence to the university of the failure to meet the academic conditions of their offer

After this time the deposit will be non-transferable and non-refundable.

Paying fees at registration

There are several methods for the payment of tuition fees including self-payment and sponsorship. See our Paying your Fees pages for information and guidance.
