- credit and debit card payments have to be made in person and cannot be accepted over the telephone
If you have any queries about paying charges please contact the Avery Hill or Greenwich campus library.
Appeals
If you wish to appeal against any charges on your library account you need to complete an Appeal against charges form.
Library overdue charge rates
£2 per day for each overdue item regardless of its loan type.
Terms and conditions for LapSafe laptop loans can be found on LibGuides.
If your fines reach £20, your account will automatically be blocked. If this happens, you will need to reduce your fines to under £20 to continue to borrow. It is your responsibility to manage your library account. As a courtesy we send an email reminder to your university email account two days before books are due back. However, you should not rely solely on this courtesy email.
To log in and renew your books go to the portal and select My library account from the My learning tab https://portal.gre.ac.uk/web/student/my-learning
