If you are teaching subjects which require your teaching materials to be created in, or reflect the Windows 10 desktop environment, you can request that your staff PC is upgraded ahead of the full staff rollout, although upgrades of staff PCs are not being encouraged at this time. This is because all applications used by staff have not yet been fully tested, and there is no guarantee they will work exactly as they do currently.  The preferred approach is for you to prepare your materials on a Student PC which has the software you require, and run it from the podium PCs which are being upgraded to Windows 10.

If the option of using a Student PC to prepare your teaching materials is not acceptable to you, please request that your managed staff PC is prioritised for an upgrade to Windows 10 by completing our  Windows 10 upgrade request form .
