The Undergraduate Research Hub encourages all students from the beginning of their studies to engage with research.
The UGR Hub facilitates staff-student research collaborations and supports students in publishing their work. The UGR Hub is a resource for students as they explore the concept of undergraduate research and we aim to generate a community of practice to support undergraduate students in finding their own research paths.
The UGR Hub has the following aims for the 23/24 academic year:
- Build and develop research skills for undergraduate students.
- Develop UGR Hub cafes for undergraduate research students in FLAS.
- Create recognition of research skills as sustainable learning beyond the life of the degree.
- Develop and fund research projects where staff and students are co-creators or partners.
- Develop a research module for academic programmes across FLAS to be launched September 2024.
- Engage undergraduate students in identifying a pathway to postgraduate research.
