Tom is a marketing practitioner who worked in commercial marketing for over 20 years, with financial services experience at NatWest, Coutts, and finally Bank of Bermuda, where he served as Vice President/Global Head of Product Development and Marketing. When Bank of Bermuda was purchased by HSBC in 2004, he went to Delhi in India to work on a project delivering marketing for a street children's bank, then returned to the UK to join the voluntary sector, taking up his first voluntary sector position in 2005. He worked for over 10 years in various paid roles, including Marketing Director at Action for Children, CEO at Computer Aid International, and also served on the boards and committees of the Consortium for Street Children, Camara UK, the DM Trust, and War Child UK, where he was also Chair for 4 1/2 years.
