Key details
Dr Szymon Kaczmarek
Lecturer in Business Management
I have gathered previous academic experience in terms of both teaching and research at De Montfort University and Northumbria University. Prior to that, I had held research fellowship positions at the University of Exeter and University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). I am a graduate of three universities, i. e . The Poznan University of Economics (MSc in Management/ International Economic and Political Relations; 2001), The University of Strathclyde (MSc in Economic Management and Policy; 2004), and the University of St. Gallen (PhD in Multi-Cultural Management, 2009). In my career so far, I have also worked in the public and private sector (both in a large multi-national company and the family- owned firm). So, my professional profile encompasses both the versatile education as a manager and economist as well as substantial experience as a business practitioner, which both strengthen my teaching credentials as an Academic in the Business School.
