Jonathan Todd joined the Paramedic Science team at the University of Greenwich as a Teaching Fellow in November 2021 and continues to work operationally as a Paramedic alongside his university role.

Jonathan graduated with a FdSc in Paramedic Science from St George’s University of London in 2016 and joined East of England Ambulance Service; in 2019 he ‘topped up’ to a BSc in Developing Paramedic Practice via the University of Cumbria. He is currently studying an MSc in Emergency and Resuscitation Medicine with Queen Mary University of London and has also completed stand-alone modules in Practice Education and Advanced Clinical Assessment with the University of Hertfordshire.

Since August 2020 Jonathan has been working as a ‘Leading Operations Manager’ for the ambulance service. As part of this role Jonathan has a variety of responsibilities such as managing staff welfare whilst also responding to cardiac arrests, major trauma, and potentially serious/major incidents. To help fulfil his responsibilities he has completed a foundation Operational Commander course and the Resuscitation Council UK Advanced Life Support course; he is also currently studying for a level 5 certificate in leadership and management.

Jonathan will be teaching theory and skills across all areas related to Paramedic Science and is looking forward to commencing his PgCert in Higher Education.
