Dr Tiwari is a Lecturer in Public Health, University of Greenwich, United Kingdom (Feb 2022 – currently) She has undertaken research on critical aspects of Human Resources for Health (HRH) by developing appropriate techniques and models for the estimation and forecasting of HRH in South Africa and India. The focus of her research is on the provision of universal health coverage through the reduction of geo-spatial inequities in resource deficit settings for general and specialized services of health care workers. She has served as Member of the Ministerial Task Team constituted by the National Department of Health, South Africa for ‘2030 Human Resources for Health Strategy: Investing in the Health Workforce for Universal Health Coverage'.
